Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 7, 2026

Introduction

At N1, we believe sports are better with friends — and we believe your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how N1 ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the N1 mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").

N1 is a free-to-play sports prediction and social competition platform. We do not facilitate real-money gambling and we do not sell your personal information to advertisers. We are committed to being straightforward about what we collect and why.

Please read this policy carefully. By using N1, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

N1 is operated by N1, Inc. ("N1"), a United States company. When you create an account and use our Services, N1 is responsible for your personal information as described in this policy.

Email: privacy@n1app.com

2. Information We Collect

We collect two basic types of information: personal information (information that identifies or can reasonably identify you) and anonymous/aggregate information (information that does not identify you individually).

Information You Provide to Us

  • Account registration: Name, email address, username, and password — or authentication tokens when you sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Profile information: Avatar preferences, display name, and other profile customization choices.
  • User-generated content: Crew names, crew descriptions, chat messages, pick submissions, bracket entries, and other content you create or post within the app.
  • Customer support: Information you provide when contacting us for help.

Information Generated Through Your Use of N1

  • Game and competition data: Your picks, predictions, brackets, squares entries, N1R ranking history, win/loss records, and competitive statistics.
  • Crew and social activity: Crew membership, crew competition history, and interactions with other users within the app.
  • Device and technical information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, and app version.
  • Usage data: How you interact with features, which content you view, frequency of app use, session duration, and in-app navigation patterns.
  • Push notification preferences: Whether you have enabled or disabled push notifications and your response to notifications.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to N1Crew, payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple (via Apple In-App Purchase). N1 does not receive or store your credit card, debit card, or payment credentials. We receive only confirmation of a successful subscription purchase from Apple. Apple's privacy practices govern payment data — please review Apple's Privacy Policy.

Information from Third Parties

  • Apple / Google Sign-In: When you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user identifier from those platforms. We do not receive your password.

3. How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you when you register, create a profile, make picks, join or create crews, post content, or contact us.
  • Automatically through the app as you use our Services, including through Firebase (our cloud infrastructure and analytics provider operated by Google).
  • From third-party platforms such as Apple and Google when you use their sign-in services to authenticate with N1.
  • Through attribution partners such as AppsFlyer, which helps us understand how users discover and install N1 (e.g., through which marketing channels). AppsFlyer may collect certain device identifiers and install data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected from you to:

  • Operate the Services: Create and maintain your account, process picks and competition results, calculate your N1R ranking, and manage crew memberships.
  • Personalize your experience: Tailor game recommendations, surface relevant competitions, and customize content based on your preferences and activity.
  • Power AI features: N1 uses Anthropic's AI to generate pick analysis and game insights within the app. When you use these features, non-identifying game context (such as matchup data, sports statistics, and pick options) is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. We do not transmit your name, email, device ID, or any other personal information to Anthropic as part of this process.
  • Communications: Send you push notifications about game results, crew activity, ranking changes, and platform updates. You may manage these preferences in your device settings.
  • Improve our Services: Analyze usage patterns and app performance to fix bugs, optimize features, and build new ones.
  • Security and fraud prevention: Detect, investigate, and prevent activity that may violate our Terms of Service, pose safety concerns, or be fraudulent or illegal.
  • Legal compliance: Fulfill our obligations under applicable laws and regulations.
  • Marketing and attribution: Measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and understand how users find N1, using anonymized or aggregated data where possible.

We do not use your information to serve targeted third-party advertisements within the app. We do not sell your personal information.
